On Monday, September 16 at 6:30 PM, join us for the Book to Movie Discussion to talk about the book “What Dreams May Come” by Richard Matheson. New members are always welcome to join in this year round book club. Recommended for 13+ due to content. Must have a library card to participate. Copies of the book and movie are available in the Adult Department. Some snacks will be provided.

Simon Girty was captured and raised by Native Americans and later served as an interpreter as he spoke 11 different Native languages. Regarded as a troublemaker and a traitor, Girty went down in history as a villain. But was he really? Come and find out.
 
Program presenter, Dave Westrick, has worked to preserve the Fallen Timbers Battlefield and Fort Miamis National Historical sites for almost twenty years. He specializes in the 1794 era and has studied the life of Simon Girty for 30 years.
