THE REFERENCE DESK BOARD OF TRUSTEES Steve Kryder, President Larry Vocke, Vice President Michelle Weddelman Brent Gray Brenda Stough Jennifer Wade Emily Altstadt LIBRARY LEADERSHIP Sarah Boeglin, Director Anne Taylor, Fiscal Officer This summer, library leadership changed. In May, we welcomed our new Fiscal Officer, Anne Taylor, and in June, Director Sarah Boeglin joined our team! Sarah and Anne inherited many projects, including the greatly anticipated renovation of our Carnegie building. Under their leadership, library staff completed a total clean up of the building in preparation for the Overdue Sale held at the end of September. We are looking forward to even more updates to our Carnegie building in the coming year. This year, we were also able to offer our community over 250 library programs at our branches, including our summer reading events, America 250 presentations, children’s storytimes, book discussions, gaming programs, and more! We will have many programs coming up in the new year. Check out our website and follow our social media for the latest news. Thank you to all who supported the library this year and. . . With a need for a public community space, private study rooms, and more room for programming, the Foundation Board would like to focus initial fund-raising efforts to renovate the Carnegie Library to once again be used and enjoyed by the community. The Foundation will also use funds to support literacy, programs, technology, circulation materials, and building needs for all three library locations. If you wish to make a tax-deductible donation, contact any of our three branches for details. The Napoleon Public Library Foundation was established in 2016 to provide support for library programs and longrange building plans.
