Long Overdue Library Materials

Good news for those of you that have wondered how the library recovers material that has not been returned. The library has contracted with Unique Management Services to help us get long overdue materials back to the library and available to everyone.

If you owe more than $25.00 in fines or have items that are more than 60 days overdue, the library will forward your name to Unique Management Service.

When your name is forwarded, a $10.00 fee will be added to your account. This is in addition to the cost of the materials and overdue charges. All accounts that are forwarded to Unique Management Services will be blocked and cannot be used until the outstanding amount is below $1.00.

When overdue items are returned, the cost of each item will be deducted from the balance, but the overdue fee and the $10.00 collection fee will still be owed.

How to avoid these added changes?

Return all items on time and in good condition.

When you know you have lost or damaged an item, contact the library and request a bill before your account is sent to Unique Management.
